Data protection and processing of personal data
Generally, the website can be viewed and used without entering your personal data.
To use all features of our website you may want to register and set up a personal account. To do so, personal data are needed and will be stored. Thus, at least an email address has to be provided. All information you provide in forms and the files you might upload to our site will be stored. If you change personal details on your account, the old information will be kept as well.
When registering for a specific mission the disclosure of your first name, surname and institute is required. These data will be used for verification purposes and partly for the authorization of the respective missions you are possibly related to.
These personal data including optionally declared personal data will be shown in places on our website. Additionally we reserve the right to present all of your provided personal data on our personal profile page of your account. Your personal data will not be shared with any third party.
After registration and verification your email address might be forwarded to other scientists to enable them to contact you. By registering voluntarily on the website you consent to the collection, storage and use of your data as described above and agree to the mentioned purpose.
As a user you have the possibility to object to the use of your
data at all times by sending a written statement to the

Data export and processing in countries outside the European Union (EU)
None of our servers or storage equipment is located outside the EU. All data is held and computed inside the EU.

Some of our server software stores your IP address anonymously in order to evaluate statistical information.
